Listening Skills
How well do you listen? This might sound like a stupid question; it isn't. Many of us think that we listen well, however, we interrupt, offer ideas/solutions prematurely, don't look interested, look at our watches etc.
If you want to check, ask some of the people around you how they rate you as a listener. Ask them to be honest. Don't worry if you don't get the answer you expected, we can easily learn to listen better. Courses on listening skills look at how we know we are being listened to, what happens if we think we are not being listened to, ways of listening better to those around you, including our customers and clients.
